Everton vs Chelsea among three fixtures moved for TV coverage

Everton’s Premier League schedule has seen three matches rescheduled following the latest round of broadcast selections.

The club’s fixtures have been rearranged after television companies finalized their coverage plans for October and early November, with Everton’s involvement accounting for three of the changes.

The journey to recently promoted Hull City will now take place on Sunday, October 11 at 2pm, with Sky Sports providing live coverage. The Tigers had requested the switch because the annual Hull Fair occupies the city on the preceding Friday and Saturday.

The home encounter against Chelsea at Hill Dickinson Stadium remains scheduled for Saturday, October 17, though the start time has been brought forward to 12.30pm for TNT Sports’ live broadcast.

The trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United has been shifted to Monday, November 2 at 8pm, also screened live by Sky Sports.

The fixture at the Emirates Stadium against Mikel Arteta’s reigning champions Arsenal continues as planned for a 3pm Saturday kick-off on October 24.

Everton’s league campaign opens on Saturday when Crystal Palace visit, with a 3pm start time.
